TEAMSTERS LOCAL 25 TO RALLY AGAINST
DUNKIN’ DONUTS
Thursday, July 22, 2010

Corner of Broad Street and State Street in
Boston’s
Financial District
Despite our best efforts, negotiators
from Teamsters Local 25 were unable to make any progress
toward resolving any of the outstanding issues with Dunkin’ Donuts’ largest
distributor, Northeast DCP, during the federally mediated bargaining
session held on July 16. We have decided that future negotiations
would be a waste of time, and our efforts will be to organize
both regional and national boycotts of Dunkin’ Donuts
stores and to do everything possible, within the law, to encourage
Dunkin’ Donuts Northeast DCP to come to the bargaining
table with an open mind on issues important to the employees
and the union. It now appears likely that the work stoppage,
boycott and labor dispute are imminent and will commence in
the near future.
Join us to send a message to Dunkin’ Donuts DCP and
coffee drinkers everywhere that the company that proclaims, “America
Runs on Dunkin’” is running away from their employees
trying to decrease current benefits, instead of working to
improve employees’ health care, wages and working conditions.
