Members calling in utilizing their Mass Sick Time, are only required to leave a voice message indicating they are sick, member is not required to provide ailment if member has available sick time and indicates on availability line they are “sick”. Company cannot apply discipline in any form. The past practice of two hours notification period is no longer the policy, if you have sick time and you state you are sick on the availability line if you do not have sick time and same rules apply.

Good Morning Teamsters Sisters and Brothers,
Our IBT Training and Grants Department is offering a virtual OSHA 10 general industry certification (1/26, 1/27, 2/2, & 2/3) and OSHA 10 construction certification (1/12, 1/13, 1/19, & 1/20) courses this month. Each class is offered over 4 specific evenings; to obtain a completed certification the participant must attend all 4 designated evenings. Each evening is from 6-9pm, however we have allowed 5:30-9:30pm to manage technical issues for individuals.
Teamster members that would like to obtain this certification and will commit to all four evenings per course. A laptop or tablet must be used with a web cam to see the participants attendance throughout each course. Members must create a profile in Moodle, verify their email, and register for each course separately. Pdfs are posted here.

*If you work for both Tradeshows and Movers, your rate is $108.00 per month effective June 1, 2025*
WITHDRAWAL CARD REQUIREMENT: Members must contact the Dues Office at 617-241-8825 to request a Withdrawal card. Members must also contact the Dues Office if they wish to come off of Withdrawal. A payment alone does not result in a withdrawal deposit - please call the Dues Office to confirm.
Online Union Dues Payments for Tradeshow Members
To be eligible to be referred for work, Tradeshow Member Union Dues must be processed online and authorized by the member's financial institution before 11:30am on the day prior to being eligible for referral to work.
**Example: Dues payments received by Monday at 11:29am would make the member eligible to be referred for work on Tuesday.

Parking for Tradeshow Members
Attention: Effective January 2026, parking at the MCEC will continue to be free for Local 25 members, see details below
The MCCA will provide parking in the MCEC’s 351 D Street Lot ONLY for Teamster members, subject to availability based on event capacity.
- Valid parking sticker REQUIRED. Location will be monitored to ensure all vehicles have a properly displayed sticker
- MUST BE AFFIXED TO WINDOW OF VEHICLE
- Members must have valid ESCA badges will receive parking passes No Exceptions
The cost for the badge is $30 cash
- Passes are only valid on the days members are scheduled to work on-site.
