TEAMSTERS LOCAL 25 CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN SPRING 2022Stay tuned for more details soon! This tournament is our main source of revenue for our scholarship program, and because of the pandemic we have not been able to host the tournament since September 2019. Even during this difficult time, the Teamsters Local 25 Memorial Scholarship Program continued. We were still able to present our 2020 and 2021 scholarship programs, which meant nearly 40 students were awarded $80,000 as part of the Teamsters Local 25 Memorial Scholarships. All of the recipients are family of Local 25 members and retirees. If you would like to support the program in 2021, please consider a donation. All checks should be made to the Teamsters Local 25 Memorial Scholarship and sent to Trish DiSilva. All donations will be considered tax deductible as it is a 501c3 charity. Please keep in your thoughts the family of Brother Wright, and his brothers and sisters in Local 1035, during this difficult time.A MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF LOCAL 1035 VICE PRESIDENT RAYMOND WRIGHTIt is with great regret that we announce the sudden passing of Teamsters Local 1035 Vice President Raymond Wright. Brother Wright was still an active employee at Pepsi Beverage located in Windsor CT having worked with the company as a Teamster for 34 years.During his time with Pepsi Ray spent many years fighting for the members as a Shop Steward and also helping negotiate multiple strong Teamster contracts. In addition to his direct work assisting the membership on the shop floor and at the bargaining table Ray was also an elected officer of the Local 1035 Executive Board. Brother Wright served on the board for an impressive 21 years starting out as a Trustee and eventually moving up to hold the role of Vice President which he still retained at the time of his passing. From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank Ray for his many contributions to the Local, our membership, and the Teamsters union. He will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace Ray!*At this time no services have been announced.* ... See MoreSee Less
